Annas Vijaya is a dynamic Researcher, Lecturer, and Project Manager dedicated to bridging academic research with real-world impact. His work consistently transforms theoretical knowledge into practical solutions in IT strategy, digital transformation, and sustainable innovation.
Currently, as a Lead Researcher at Constructor University, Germany, he exemplifies this commitment by developing an Assessment Framework for ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) and intelligent asset management platforms leveraging knowledge graphs and machine learning. This research directly addresses critical industry needs for sustainability and efficient asset management.
Annas Vijaya’s strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Information Systems & Management and a Master of Information Technology, has led to numerous Q1-ranked journal articles and conference papers.
His PhD thesis, for instance, focuses on “Advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Assessment and Reporting” using cutting-edge methods like ontology and AI.
His two decades of industry experience further underscore his practical impact. As a Senior Project Manager & Solution Architect at PT Astra Graphia Tbk., he successfully led large-scale IT projects across energy, finance, education, and telecommunications sectors, managing significant project values.
He also led AI-driven digital transformation initiatives. In roles as an IT Strategic Advisor at Universities in Indonesia, he implemented international standard frameworks like ITIL and COBIT to align IT with strategic business goals and drive innovation. He was also recognized as “Lecturer of The Year 2014”.
